June 19, 2013. Sinara Pipe Plant (SinTZ, a member of Pipe Metallurgical Company/TMK), came up with the results of the first stage of launching Directum-based e-document management system. While the system was being launched, a number of processes were automated, including processing memos and decrees, incoming and outcoming documents, and internal memos.
As a result, the document flow has become significantly speedier, thanks to no more manual registration and accounting for most of the documents that come into all of the plant’s divisions. At the moment, the e-document management involves all the key document processing points, and 720 users operate the system daily, generating more than 450 documents and over 4,000 user tasks, all of which can be tracked online.
The project on the first stage of launching the e-document management system has been declared successful. The next stage involves providing mobile phone access to documents and introduction of the Meetings Management Module.
