June 17, 2013. Ural Airlines recently added a new Airbus 319 plane to its fleet of vehicles: this is the company’s first such make, in fact. This means that the air carrier currently operates the entire family of Airbus 320 planes. The new liner arrived in Yekaterinburg from North America; it is fit for 134 passengers (there are 136 economy class seats and 8 business class ones). The aircraft will be used for both international and domestic flights, the airline’s press officer reports.
Ural Airlines launched its fleet upgrade program in 2006, and so the company adds some new aircraft to its fleet of vehicles every year. At the moment, the air carrier is using 29 planes (18 A320 ones, 10 A321 ones, and 1 A319 one). The airline is planning to keep on expanding its fleet as well as its destinations network.
