Ural Airlines gets another Airbus 321

June 6, 2013. Ural Airlines’ fleet of vehicles now has one more Airbus 321 plane fit for 220 passengers, the airline’s press service says.
The aircraft arrived from Neapol; this is the 4th plane that the company has leased this year. Given the fact that A320 aircraft will have to be given back to the leasing company, the air carrier currently operates 28 planes (18 A320 ones and 10 A321 ones). Given that some new destinations have been launched and that the passenger turnover is on the increase, the company needs increasingly more planes.
Ural Airlines is actually one of Russia’s top 5 air carriers in terms of passenger and freight turnover in January-April 2013. In 2012, more than 3.5m passengers used the company’s services, and flights were operated to over 170 different destinations. The company’s fleet of vehicles mainly consists of the Airbus family planes.
