June 5, 2013. A reporter employed with the Hong Kong newspaper Wen Hui Bao presented his impressions from visiting Yekaterinburg at the invitation of the World Universal Exhibition EXPO 2020 Application Committee on the pages of the newspaper.
He says Yekaterinburg proved to be ‘an industrial center full of life and energy’ whose splendour is available for everyone to see.
‘Unlike Moscow, where all the streets and roads run from the center like the sunrays, Yekaterinburg has a very organized layout: all the streets and buildings are oriented in the cardinal directions,’ Yekaterinburg Administration’s press service quotes the reporter as saying.
The Hong Kong newspaper declared the city ‘an oasis of arts and culture’.
