Uralvagonzavod allocated 9m RUR to children’s healthcare program

June 4, 2013. A healthcare campaign targeted at children took off at Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation’s head plant.

The holding’s press service says that 9m RUR were allocated for the purpose in 2013, which will fund the holidays of 1,700 children of the plant’s employees. Some of them will go to municipal camps such as Antonovsky, Zvezdny, Zvonkiye Golosa, Izumrudny, Lesnoy Rucheyek, Severyanka, Solnechny, and Uralsky Ogonek as well as to health resorts such as Sosnovy Bor and Roosh.1,169 trips have been booked for the summer for the plant workers’ children, which is 139 trips more than a year earlier. 80% of each trip’s cost will be covered by Sverdlovsk Region budget, 10% will be covered by Uralvagonzavod, and 10% will be paid by the parents. 318 children will go to camps during the first shift.

In addition, a children’s summer camp will open in Pikhtoviye Gory health resort. 368 children will spend a part of the summer in the camp this season. In 2013, by the time the summer campaign has started, a lot of repair jobs were completed at the resort, including new electric infrastructure, new walls, floors, ceilings, and lighting in the halls, all of which meet the fire safety criteria.
