Russia-EU Summit in Yekaterinburg to add color to parties’ trade ties

June 3, 2013. The trade and investment relations between Russia and the EU member states can get an injection of new vibes and colors thanks to the negotiations at the upcoming summit in Yekaterinburg, Head of the EU representation in Russia Fernando Valenzuela said in the course of his meeting with Head of Sverdlovsk Region Governor Administration Yakov Silin.
According to Sverdlovsk Region Government’s press service, Valenzuela sees the summit as the basis for closer cooperation in all sorts of fields.
‘Getting acquainted with your region is essential for us, for we know how dynamically it has been developing. Our task is to lay the foundation on which businesses can cooperate. This is why negotiating on the new EU-Russia agreement will be one of the key points on the agenda. The article in this agreement relating to trade and investment must get some new touches to it,’ Mr. Valenzuela said.
