March 18, 2013. The management of OAO Development Corporation is going to devise a long-term development strategy for the company, the corporation’s press service reports.

Development Corporation’s Chairman of Supervisory Board Boris Kirillov says the corporations’ structure and the line of its activity are quite complete and clear at the moment.

‘The Supervisory Board’s task is to elaborate a strategy for the implementation of the corporation’s core projects in a way that benefits the shareholder constituencies. We are now completing a correspondent strategic document for 2013-2016. This proposal will be presented to the heads of federal constituencies and to the Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian Federation President,’ Kirillov notes.

Development Corporation still sees the construction of the Northern Latitudinal Railway, putting up the infrastructure for Zapolyarye-Purpe oil pipeline, and electric power projects as its top priorities. The latter segment includes the construction of such major power-generating units as Polyarnaya heat and power plant in Salekhard and upgrading and enhancing the efficiency of boilers (which has already been done successfully in Chelyabinsk Region).
