UBRD Launches New Ad Campaign

March 12, 2013. The Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development launched a new ad campaign of its multi-purpose bank card. The campaign is dubbed ‘Your Very Own Bank’ and is based on a story that resembles a bank robbery: five people decided to ‘rob a bank’. The operation was quite a success: they took ‘their very own bank’ with them and were very satisfied with the result: they got one card that ensures all the core banking services, the bank’s press office says.
‘The main idea behind this ad campaign is to show the customers that all the most popular services such as deposits, loans, and a settlement account can be available via just one card. The concept is a bit provocative, which, we feel, will effectively help us attract new customers and draw the existing customers’ attention to the new product,’ says the bank’s Marketing Director Konstantin Dyatlov.
The large-scale sales of Your Very Own Bank card took off at all of UBRD offices at the same time as the advertising campaign. The purchase of the card guarantees the cardholder access to a range of banking services simultaneously: a credit card with a grace period, a debit card, a deposit, a cash back option, e-banking, and SMS-banking.
The campaign was elaborated by Stolzman & Katz Advertising Agency. The video clip was shot in Kiev at Dovzhenko Studios.
