Sverdlovsk Region Transfers over 27bn RUR to Russian Budget

According to the statistical data provided by Sverdlovsk Region division of the Federal Tax Service, the region transferred 27.2bn RUR to the Russian Federation’s consolidated budget in January and February 2013, which was 1.2bn RUR, or 5% more than a year earlier, the division’s press officer reports.
The division analysts say that the money inflow into the federal budget amounted to 7.2bn RUR, which was 1.3bn RUR, or 15% less than a year earlier; the VAT payments reached 6.3bn RUR, which was 20% less than in January and February 2012.
At the same time, the corporate income tax amounted to 0.7bn RUR, which was 0.2m RUR, or 43% more than in the two months of 2012.
What is more, 13.9bn RUR worth of tax and non-tax payments were made to the region’s budget, which was 15% or 1.9bn RUR more than a year earlier. Most of the regional budget’s revenues came from the corporate income tax (42%) and personal income tax (45%). In January and February 2013, the corporate income tax reached 5.8bn RUR, which was 18% (0.9bn RUR) more than a year earlier. The personal income tax payments amounted to 6.3bn RUR, which was 13% more than in the two months of 2012.
