February 28, 2013. Atomstroycomplex Corporation started the capital repairs of the main building of Yekaterinburg’s Children’s Theater. The company’s press officer informed UrBC that all the jobs should be finished in the last quarter of 2014.

Within the next two months, the old interior and obsolete engineering infrastructure will be dismantled; then, in accordance with the schedule set out in the government contract, the building and assembly jobs and finishing jobs will start.

The project on the overhaul of the theater was designed by Atomstroycomplex in cooperation with UralNIIProyekt Institute. The developers explain that the concept of the main building’s interior followed the existing architectural solutions of the entire set of buildings:

‘Our task was to create a new image of a modern, hi tech theater oriented at both very young spectators and young adults while retaining the general feel of the old interior.’

Now Atomstroycomplex took part in working on such important Yekaterinburg landmarks as the Palace of Justice, the Legislative Assembly Hall, the Chamber Theater, the Nutcracker Children’s Ballet Theater, and the Sevastyanov Residence.
