SKB-Bank Awards First Special Offer Winners with iPad

January 11, 2013. The first round of SKB-Bank’s special monthly competition dubbed, ‘Discover New Element & Win an iPad was completed on January 10. The special offer was launched in October 2012, at the same time as the bank’s new advertising campaign, The Periodical Table of SKB-Bank Elements, took off.
SKB-Bank gave everyone a chance to ‘discover’ his or her very own element that could become a part of the advertising campaign. The element can be created via a special webpage: one needs to think of the symbol to designate the element as well as its name, and choose a product that this element would represent. The ‘discoverers’ who don’t have an Internet connection readily available can also use a special printed coupon available at any of SKB-Bank branches.
The contest comprises several stages, and the winners are nominated every month. Anna Podgornova, a customer at one of the bank’s Volgograd branches, won in the first round of the contest and got an iPad. She ‘discovered’ the element called even-stevenium that represents exchange of currency.
