10 January 2013 (09:28)

January 10, 2013. Yekaterinburg residents now have the opportunity of getting their multiple Schengen visas needed for travel or for medical treatment abroad at the Czech Republic’s local consulate, the consulate’s press service reports.

‘This is to inform you that the Consulate-General of the Czech Republic in Yekaterinburg is to adjust its current Schengen visa-issuing policy starting on January 1, 2013. The visas needed for travel or for medical treatment abroad will be available in one-time-entry and multiple-entry formats,’ the consulate’s website states.

The multiple Schengen visa needed for travel or for medical treatment abroad can be issued if an applicant proves or makes a case for his or her intention to travel frequently and extensively, or if an applicant proves his or her dependability and integrity, especially if his or her previous Schengen visas were used in strict compliance with the law. The applicant must also make a case of his or her economic status in his or her home country and prove that he or she will leave the Schengen area before the visa expires.
