Nizhniy Tagil Gets Ready for International Arms Exhibition

October 23, 2012. The first organizations meeting on the preparations for the International Arms Exhibition 2013 was held in Nizhniy Tagil, Sverdlovsk Region Government’s Press & Information Administration informed UrBC.
‘The exhibition has been scheduled for the second half of September 2013; however, to make sure everything is flawless, we have already started preparing for the big event. Next year’s exhibition will be very different in that it will be primarily coordinated by Uralvagonzavod Scientific & Production Corporation. Nizhniy Tagil Institute of Metal Testing, which used to coordinate the event before, will be the co-organizer of the exhibition,’ says Sverdlovsk Region Minister for Industry & Science Vladislav Pinayev.
The Minister added that the first meeting was dedicated to selecting the candidates for the preparation committee. The final decisions on the committee members are supposed to be made by the end of November through the Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuivashev’s decree.
In order to prepare for the exhibition in 2013, new roads will probably be built and the existing ones will be repaired; some new facilities will be added to the shooting range, and it will also be upgraded.
