Koltsovo Filling Station to Raise Jet Fuel Prices on September 12

12 September 2012 (09:25)

Koltsovo Filling Station (a member of TNK-BP) is planning to increase its jet fuel prices from 30,520 RUR to 31,820 RUR per ton on September 12, Kommersant reports.

The newspaper’s sources report that ‘prices are primarily growing at the filling stations that belong to the oil companies (and these are the players that set the current market trends). Jet fuel prices rose by nearly 6% in early September, which proved the greatest increase over the last few months.

On July 3, 2012, Koltsovo Filling Station decreased jet fuel prices down to 30,520 RUR per ton. On April 23, 2012, its fuel cost 30,820 RUR per ton. This means prices dropped by 1%. This is the second time the price has gone down a little this year.

Meanwhile, jet fuel prices increased five times at Koltsovo Airport last year. Prices changed in May, August, September, October, and November 2011; as a result, the price of jet fuel went up by over a quarter.
