Another fuel filling station might be set up at Koltsovo Airport of Yekaterinburg. The construction of the station is now being lobbied by Head of Sverdlovsk Region Government Denis Pasler, who held a meeting with a delegation from Rosneft today.
In the course of the meeting, the parties looked at the format of the prospective agreement between the oil company and Sverdlovsk Region. The agreement currently covers two directions, one of them has to do with putting up 25 filling stations and an oil station as well as a jet fuel filling station at Koltsovo Airport.
The airport currently uses a filling station operated by TNK BP, and the price of jet fuel rose five times over the last twelve months alone.
The construction of yet another filling station might increase competition among the oil companies. As recently as a month ago, Lukoil also announced it intended to put up another station within one year’s time.
