UTair Airlines ATR 42 had to stop the take-off due to technical problems at Roschino Airport, Interfax-Ural reports.
Ural Investigative Department for Transportation of Russia’s Investigative Committee’s press service reported on Tuesday that the incident occurred at 6:25 AM (local time) the day before. The plane did not fly to Nizhnevartovsk because of an engine failure.
‘According to the preliminary data available, the reason for the incident was that the left engine did not switch into the takeoff mode,’ the message states.
