Surgut public prosecution authorities for transportation started looking into an incident involving UTair Aviation Company’s Boeing 737 that had to stop the takeoff due to faulty equipment, Interfax-Ural refers to the prosecution authorities as announcing.
The incident occurred late at night the other day. The aircraft had no time for takeoff: the decision to stop the flight was taken by the crew during the acceleration.
The authorities pointed out that Tyumen Interregional Aviation Transport Administration was investigating the case as well. After the administration comes up with its report, the prosecution authorities for transportation will decide on the possible proceedings.
