Siemens expressed an interest in the project on putting up a high-speed railway link between Moscow and Yekaterinburg, Siemens LLC Russia Central Asia Director-General Dietrich Moeller says.

‘We’ve got good carriage solutions and infrastructure proposals. Siemens has a lot of experience as far as the implementation of such projects is concerned, for example, we were involved in such projects in Germany and the Netherlands,’ he said.

Moeller explained the tender had not been announced yet, so it would be necessary to look into its terms.

‘In any case, we are quite interested in this field,’ Interfax quotes Moeller as saying.
