The construction of a new building for Ural State University of Economics has to be postponed indefinitely, the university’s First Pro-Rector Maxim Maramygin told the portal E1.
‘the construction of this building is a difficult and time-consuming task that requires not only the rector’s office’s special attention but also a considerable contribution of money made by the faculty; at the same time, no budget subsidies are provided for this projects, while the Education Ministry forbade us to look for sponsors. The issue of resuming the construction process is now being considered, the university’s Learned Council has asked the Rector to go on with the project, so some changes will become visible by 2013,’ Maramygin said.
