27 March 2012 (09:18)
Yekaterinburg police officers are looking into the activity of Autolime motor show’s director. It is suspected that Ilnar E. (33), who dealt in the sales of used cars, disappeared out of sight with his customers’ money, the press office for Yekaterinburg Department of Sverdlovsk Region division of Russia’s Internal Affairs Ministry Main Administration told the reporters.
In fact, these were Autolime’s employees who informed Police Department 9 on Thursday, March 22, that their director had been out of reach for a few days already. They said the director, Ilnar E., resided in Ufa, the Republic of Bashkortostan, and rented a flat in Yekaterinburg. He also hired a car which he actually claimed was his own. The motor show employees were unable to provide any more information, as their director was not on particularly personal terms with any of them.
The employees decided to go to the police because customers started calling the place, asking for their money paid for the cars back. It turned out that Ilnar E., who dealt in the sales of used cars, disappeared with the money (over 10m RUR).
‘The motor show was searched on Friday, and a copy of the director’s passport was found. It is also known that he was still in town on that day, but left the place later on,’ the press office for Yekaterinburg Department of Sverdlovsk Region division of Russia’s Internal Affairs Ministry Main Administration reports.
