A team of Magnesite Group employees arrived at Ufaleynickel JSC in order to carry out experimental-industrial operations on blast furnace lining. The repairs of the No. 2 blast furnace breeching provide for a replacement of the standard bricklaying by the erosion-resistant lining made of refractory concrete mixture, so the preliminary procedures included removing the old brick lining as well as the old rust, calx, and other kinds of residue inside the breeching and creating air and water supplies that are needed for successful functioning of the special evaporation plant.

Uraltrubprom JSC, local tube and pipe works, assessed its success in the first five months of 2006. On June 7, 2006, Ural Airlines AN-24 aircraft engine had problems during Nadym-Yekaterinburg flight. According to the company’s spokesperson, the pilot in command followed the flight operation instructions and decided to go back to the airport of departure. The landing was safe and smooth. ‘The passengers from the flight have been taken to the airport hotel and will be transferred to Yekaterinburg at 6.15 PM on June 8.
