UVZ Sets New Production Record

Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) came up with a performance report for the six months of 2012. June proved the most productive month, and a new record of 2,500 railway vehicles made within a month was set, the plant’s press service reports. The proprietors of Rezhnickel and Ufaleynickel are planning to convert their companies into state-run enterprises so as to avoid production stoppage and insolvency. Both plants are now struggling with financial troubles due to dropping global nickel prices. Sverdlovsk Region’s IPI Grows 7.7% in January-April

The industrial production index (IPI) rose by 7.7% in January-May 2012 compared with January-may 2011 for all organizations. Koltsovo Filling Station Decreases Jet Fuel Prices a Little
