Sverdlovsk Region: Tax Offices Get 1.773bn RUR Through Court Claims

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 16, 2016. Sverdlovsk Region-based courts sustained 1.773bn RUR worth of claims laid against taxpayers by local fiscal authorities in the first half of the year. All in all, 426 claims (2.86bn RUR in total) were heard in courts in January-June, which means that 62% of the overall claim amount got sustained. Most of these court cases involved legal entities: there were 296 claims laid against them (2.339bn RUR in total), 38 claims laid against sole traders (73.5m RUR in total), and 92 claims laid against private individuals (447.3m RUR in total).

Ural Federal District: AR Down 6%, Romir Says

UrBC, Moscow, August 12, 2016. The average receipt amount at Ural Federal District-based shops declined by 6% in July 2016 and now comes to 410 RUR, Romir Holding reports. In Russia on the whole, the average receipt amount actually rose by 1.2% in July against one month earlier and came to 510 RUR. This means that this amount has been very low for the last six months, at a level comparable with that of late 2013 and early 2014. Rosstat: Russia Sees Another Week of Deflation

Russia to Lift Turkish Foods Embargo By End of Year

The government might lift the ban on Turkish foods import before the end of the year, Rossiyskaya Gazeta refers to Russia’s Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev as stating.
