Kalina holds annual stockholders meeting

Kalina Concern JSC held the annual stockholders meeting. The stockholders approved the company’s annual report, balance sheet, profit and loss accounts for 2005, and the audit report. Mobile phones chain assesses its success in the Urals

Svyaznoy, a mobile phone chain, has set up 98 outlets in the Urals, of which 22 have been set up in Yekaterinburg, by April 1, 2006. Reftinskaya battery farm puts up buildings near Reftinskiy reservoir without environmental authorities’ consent

Rosprirodnadzor Administration carried out a surprise inspection of Reftinskaya battery farm following the enquiry of local environmental authority. According to Administration spokesperson, the investigation revealed that the company had put up some buildings in the water protection zone of Reftinskiy reservoir without any consent of the respective bodies. Thus, Rosprirodnadzor Administration charged the company with Clause 8.4 (Part 1) of Administrative Infraction Code and imposed the fine of 50,000 RUR. The violation has to be somehow mended as well.

Ural Airlines wraps up charter flights from Roshino Airport of Tyumen

‘Ural Airlines are wrapping up the charter flights from Roshino Airport of Tyumen. They have only applied for flights until mid-May and were not planning to do them in summer,’ said General Director of Roshino Airport JSC Vladimir Polyakov. ‘The airport is being used by other carriers, for example, Utair and KagalymAvia perform charter flights to Turkey, and these flights are fully filled,’ Mr Polyakov said.

Russian Federal property Fund announces results of selling auction for Chelyabinsk company

Chelyabinsk subsidiary of Russian Federal Property Fund announced the results of the auction organized with the aim of selling the shares of Chelyabinskiy Kladokombinat # 1 JSC (dealing in frozen stuffs). 28,698 shares had been put up to auction (51% of the company’s authorized capital). The highest bid was offered by sole trader Mr V. Kireev who bid 68.7m RUR (the opening bid was 31.2m RUR).

CHTPZ-Meta CJSC assesses its achievements in the first three months of 2006

Throughout January to March, the company stored and processed 110,000 tons of ferrous scrap metal (an increase of 83% against 2005), the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative. Metallurgical Industrial Complex of Nizhny Tagil completes construction of blast furnace No. 5

Aircrew of Ural Airlines undergoes no systematic medical checkups

According to Territorial Office of Rospotrebnadzor (Russian State Consumer Rights Surveillance Agency), only 625 of 993 businesses located in Yekaterinburg arranged any medical checkups for their personnel during 2005.
