NTMK renewing equipment of its man-caused formations processing shop

Integrated Metallurgical Complex of Nizhny Tagil (NTMK JSC), member of Evraz Group, renews the equipment of its man-caused formations processing shop. According to NTMK PR-department, two new forklift trucks and a Komatsu bulldozer have already been delivered to the processing shop, and the company is going to receive one more Komatsu calfdozer before the end of 2006. NTMK is also going to replace the specialized magnetic grab crane. Local phone operator to gradually disconnect some of their users

Following instructions from RosTelecom JSC, Yekaterinburg subsidiary of UralSvyazInform JSC will be disconnecting users owing them money for long-distance and international calls between May 16 and May 23. Ore producer Evrazruda JSC renovates its dumpers

Two new Belarus-made dumpers with the capacity of 30 tons are now used in No 7 haulage shop servicing Sheregeshskiy mine of Kemerov Region. According to Evrazruda JSC spokesperson, these dumpers replaced the worn-out vehicles in the process of transporting chip from the grinding and concentrating mill onto the spoil bank. There are a total of five 30-ton dumpers used in the process 24/7; all of them are quite new (two were bought in 2002, one in 2005, the other two – a few days ago). Each dumper makes about 17 trips per turn; the chip is used for filling exhausted mines.

Pipe maker of Pervouralsk decreases production by 21%

Pervouralskiy Novovtrubniy Zavod JSC (Pervouralsk tube and pipe plant) summed up its achievements in April 2006. According to their spokesperson, within the four months of 2006, the plant has shipped 212,100 tons of goods, which is 6% less than a year earlier. In April alone, 54,000 tons of goods (21% less than in April 2005) were shipped to the buyers. The spokesperson explained that this was due to the overhaul of mill 160 that had been out of operation throughout the whole month.

In April 2006, the company produced 464.960m worth of goods, including 153 engineer vehicles worth 278.827m RUR (24 tractors, 10 pipelayers, 117 rippers/ bulldozers).
