Heliopark Smolino Hotel dismissed GD Alexander Zhirkov from the post. Mr Zhirkov occupied the position from April 1 to June 13, 2006. At the moment Elena Nardelli, former CEO, is acting as the hotel GD. A team of Magnesite Group employees arrived at Ufaleynickel JSC in order to carry out experimental-industrial operations on blast furnace lining. The repairs of the No. 2 blast furnace breeching provide for a replacement of the standard bricklaying by the erosion-resistant lining made of refractory concrete mixture, so the preliminary procedures included removing the old brick lining as well as the old rust, calx, and other kinds of residue inside the breeching and creating air and water supplies that are needed for successful functioning of the special evaporation plant.
