Denis Malyshev appointed GD of MegaFon/Ural GSM

Some personnel changes have taken place in MegaFon/Ural GSM, the local division of one of major Russian mobile operators. Denis Malyshev was appointed General Director; former GD Alexander Arnautov decided to retire. Mr Malyshev was earlier employed in the capacity of Regional Development Director by Delta Telecom (Skylink) CJSC and then as GD of Mobicom Center CJSC (MegaFon) He will be succeeded in the latter position by Andrey Eremkin, former Deputy GD of Mobicom Center.

Causes of food poisoning at IKEA construction site to be revealed

‘The current condition of workers taken to hospitals from the construction site can be characterized as stable. We are going to have the results of the microbial flora test ready tonight, and, if these results don not alarm the doctors, all of IKEA employees will be allowed to leave the clinic,’ the spokesperson for municipal clinic № 40 Marina Ruvinskaya said to UrBC representative. ‘There are 126 patients out of 155 workers with food poisoning in the hospital at the moment. Russian Expo Arms 2006, the international arms exhibition, was closed up on July 15, 2006. It was attended by over 200 enterprises from 34 Russian regions and 14 foreign countries. According to the Central Bank of Russia, arrears of credit payments by individual entrepreneurs to UralTransBank have gone up by 11.7% (from 7.554 million RUR to 8.440 million) within the six months of 2006. SUAL Group raises production output in first half of 2006

SUAL Group has looked at its success in the first six months of 2006. Its pgrading of production facilities and efficient marketing policy have resulted in a steady increase in production, the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative. Thus, the Group has produced 26.5% more rolled metal and intermediate products in the first six months of 2006 than in the corresponding period of 2005. 53% fewer loans given by Ural Treasures Bank to natural persons throughout January to June 2006, reports Central Bank of Russia

According to the Central Bank of Russia, the volume of loans given by Ural Treasures Bank CJSC to natural persons for a term of 91 to 180 days has gone down by 53% (from 25.046 million RUR to 11.820 million) throughout January to June 2006. As for the period of January to May 2006, the volume of loans given by the Bank to natural persons for a term of 91 to 180 days dropped by 45% (from 25.046 million to 13.767 million).
