Ural Turbine Plant negotiates with China
The last carriage loaded with parts of the new PT-90 steam turbine meant for the power station located in People’s Republic of China started its journey from the premises of Ural Turbine Plant (part of Renova Group) on October 30, 2006. Another such turbine is now being made as well. In addition, the works is planning to sign a contract involving production of the first 300-megawatt steam turbine with Harbin Turbine Works in April 2007. This turbine will be installed at another Chinese power station. At the recent meeting of the two parties, they had a chance to look at the working schedule.
