Evraz Group is now looking into the reasons for a recent emergency at West Siberian Iron & Steel Plant that left three people injured. Ural Airlines reduces fuel fees

Ural Airlines announced recently that the company’s fuel fees for international flights would be reduced by 50%. The discount covers the summer destinations most popular with Yekaterinburg dwellers. Thus the fuel fee for Yekaterinburg-Varna and Yekaterinburg-Burgas flights will only come to ?40 and that for Iraklion and Saloniki will come to ?45. Toyota calls off 160,000 cars

Toyota’s Russian representation reported recently that the concern was going to call about 160,000 automobiles off the Russian market because of the possible accelerator pedal defects. Rus wins case against AlfaStrakhovaniye

Rus, the nongovernmental retirement fund, won the court case against OAO AlfaStrakhovaniye, the insurance company. MMK supplies goods to Middle East

Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) supplied more metal goods to the Middle East in the year 2009 compared to the year 2008, MMK PR Department reports. Russian Railways’ passenger turnover drops 11%

NLMK-Sort’s steel output goes down

Novolipetsk Iron & Steel Works (NLMK) section iron division’s enterprises, which were united under OOO NLMK-Sort’s management in December 2009, produced 1.7 million tons of steel in 2009. Microsoft claims 37% of Ural stores sell pirated software

Microsoft once again came up with the findings of its piracy monitoring research involving retail computer stores in Russian provinces.
