Court to hear case on Uralmash brand in September

Moscow District Federal Arbitration Court postponed the hearing of the writ of appeal placed by IG Holding Ltd (Integra Group) until September 17, 2010. CIT Capital can’t go to arbitration court

OAO CIT Capital was not allowed to transfer its case regarding the annulment of a land-renting agreement to Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court. The 12th Arbitration Court of Appeals supported the ruling of Saratov Region Arbitration Court, SaratovBusinessConsulting Information Agency reports. Russia’s crop yield might shrink 30%

The abnormally hot Russian summer might cause the country to lose up to 30% of its crop yield compared with the amounts harvested in 2009, RIA Novosti refers to head of Rosgidromet Alexander Frolov as saying. Foreign trade turnover rises due to Kazakhstan and Ukraine

The foreign trade turnover in the Ural Customs area rose due to 31.8% and 94.5% more goods being exported to Kazakstan and Ukraine, respectively. Gazinvest loses license

Eight nsurers fail to win Sverdlovsk Region’s tender

Yekaterinburg’s subsidiary of Rostra Insurance Company was the organization that won the tender coordinated by Sverdlovsk Region’s car fleet, a state-run enterprise. As a result, the two parties signed an obligatory automobile liability insurance agreement that covered 281 cars from the regional government’s fleet, the spokesperson for Rostra says. Perm Territory and Sverdlovsk Region to hand over highway

Perm Territory and Sverdlovsk Region are planning to hand a portion of Perm-Serov-Khanty-Mansiysk-Surgut-Nizhnevartovsk-Tomsk highway over to the Russian Federation, Perm’s regional server says. For one, the Kama Region is going to give away a 200-kilometer portion of the tract through Chusovoy, Gornozavodsk, and Teplaya Gora up to Sverdlovsk Region’s border. 4,530 pirated items confiscated in Sverdlovsk Region

Counterfeit Sochi Olympics 2014, a multi-purpose law-enforcement campaign on counteracting piracy, has come to an end in Yekaterinburg. For over a week, the local police were trying to detect and counteract offenses related to manufacturing, storage, transportation, and sales of pirated items which illegitimately bore the Olympic Games symbols and logos, says Sverdlovsk Region Internal Affairs Administration’s press service. 4,530 counterfeit items worth over 470,000 RUR were confiscated altogether, including 2,480 items with the Olympics and Paralympics symbols worth 274,000 RUR.
