FAS Allows Ingosstrakh toBuy 100% Stake in Yugoria

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) approved of Ingosstrakh’s petition to buy a 100% shareholding in Yugoria Insurance Company that has to go private in August, FAS Deputy Head of Financial Markets Control Department Irina Smirnova told Prime. ‘A petition placed by Ingosstrakh’s daughter company InVest-Polis will be approved in four days, too. Rezhnickel, Ufaleynickel Might Become State-Run

The proprietors of Rezhnickel and Ufaleynickel are planning to convert their companies into state-run enterprises so as to avoid production stoppage and insolvency. Both plants are now struggling with financial troubles due to dropping global nickel prices. A meeting was held in the Representation of Russian Federation President in Ural Federal District yesterday where the owners Alexei Timofeyev and Artem Timofeyev asked for support. Ural Airlines Launches New Scheduled Moscow-Rimini Flights

Ural Airlines is launching new scheduled flights from Moscow to the coast of the Adriatic, the air carrier’s press officer reports. Sverdlovsk Region’s IPI Grows 7.7% in January-April

The industrial production index (IPI) rose by 7.7% in January-May 2012 compared with January-may 2011 for all organizations. Koltsovo Filling Station Decreases Jet Fuel Prices a Little

ZAO Koltsovo Filling Station (a member of TNK-BP) decreased its jet fuel prices down to 30,520 RUR per ton, the station reports. Starting April 23, the station’s jet fuel was available fro 30,820 RUR per ton. This means the price of jet fuel went down by 1%. This is actually the second time the price has declined a little this year. Still, the cost of jet fuel rose five times at Koltsovo Airport last year. Prices were adjusted in May, August, September, October, and November 2011. In the end, the price of jet fuel increased by over 25%.

MMK, Novatech Sign 10-Year Contract

Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) signed a long-term agreement for natural gas supply with Novatech Chelyabinsk (a 100% daughter enterprise of Novatech) in order to ensure the current activities and further development of MMK Group.
