Aston’s debt runs to over 1m

Ural Tire Works, Ural Lift-Building Plant, Uralneftegazstroy, Stroyinvest, Uralstroyinvest, Aston Building Company, Uralstroy, and Uralstroy-1 have been placed on the list of companies owing more than 1 million RUR to the state (i.e. the Russian Federation budget), Sverdlovsk Region’s division of the Federal Tax Service reports. All in all, the list comprised 341 enterprises on March 15, 2009.

Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court keeps handling the claim laid by Yekaterinburg’s Verkh-Isetskiy district tax inspectorate (on behalf of the Russian Federation Tax Service) against Aston Construction Company. The plaintiff insists that Aston be declared bankrupt, the spokesperson for the court reports. The tax inspectorate maintains that Aston hasn’t paid it the 953,884.95-ruble debt in three entire months. The inspectorate refers to Articles 3,7,33, 41, and 39 (paragraph 5) of the Federal Insolvency Act as the legal grounds for declaring the construction company bankrupt. The court
