UTair flies fewer passengers

UTair Airlines serviced 2,207,010 people in January-August 2009, which was 2.3% less than a year earlier, the carrier’s press officer reports. In addition to this, the airline handled 1,063.8 tons of mail in the eight months of 2009, which was actually 20.3% less than in January-August 2008. However, the company flew 389,370 passengers in August, which exceeded the figures for the year before by 4.3%. What is more, UTair’s passenger turnover in August 2009 was 5.8% greater than in August 2008, reaching 686,518,000 passenger-kilometers.

MoD to buy housing in Academic district

The Russian Federation Ministry of Defense will buy 716 apartments from RENOVA-StroyGroup in Yekaterinburg’s Academic district. The decision to this extent was taken at the end of the ministry’s special auction. Nash Dom back off on claim

Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court keeps looking into the case laid by ZAO Nash Dom against ISK Megapolis. Russian Railways’ shipping output drops 20.5%

‘The company handled 20.5% less freight in January-August 2009 than in the eight months of 2008,’ says President of Russian Railways Public Company Vladimir Yakunin. ‘In August, the output decrease only amounted to 12.3% against a year earlier, whereas our stone coal shipments even rose by 4.1%. Avtoland sued by customers

Yekaterinburg’s Kirovskiy district court is to consider the claim laid by A.G. Chernyshev against Avtoland Sever on September 11, 2009. The plaintiff wants to be paid the money the car dealer owes him as well as the interest and the moral damage compensation. MDM Bank produces first report

GGE raises claims against Bank24.ru

Global Gaming Expo (GGE)’s claim against Life Group’s Bank24.ru was raised to 199 million RUR. The next court hearing of the case will take place on October 10, 2009. Okami and Avtosan to become Ford’s dealers

‘At the close of the tender, Ford short-listed two companies that may become the car manufacturer’s Yekaterinburg-based dealers, with show rooms in the eastern and the northern parts of the city,’ Ford Motor Company’s PR Director Ekaterina Kulinenko said to an UrBC reporter.
