Governor to visit Slovakia on April 3-4, 2008

Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Eduard Rossel is going to visit the Republic of Hungary as a member of a delegation led by Head of Russian Federation Government Viktor Zubkov. In Budapest, the Governor is going to meet Hungary’s chief architect and directors of a major bank, an insurance company, and a few other businesses in order to discuss the prospects of financing some construction projects in Sverdlovsk Region by the Hungarian investors. The Hungarian consulate is going to start operating in Yekaterinburg at the end of December 2007, the spokesperson for the Governor of Sverdlovsk Region reports. On December 7, 2007, Governor Eduard Rossel visited the Republic of Hungary as a member of an official delegation headed by Head of Russian Government Viktor Zubkov. While there, Mr. Rossel took part in some intergovernmental meetings and was present at a number of document-signing ceremonies, including the one regarding the introduction of the Hungarian consulate-general in Yekaterinburg.

Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Eduard Rossel started his two-week vacation on August 18, 2008. While the Governor is on vacation, things are to be run by Head of Sverdlovsk Region Government Viktor Koksharov. The spokesperson for the Governor reports Eduard Rossel is not going to leave Sverdlovsk Region while on vacation. In fact, the Governor has already taken a two-week leave in July 2008.
