Governor of Sverdlovsk Region appoints Viktor Koksharov Head of Sverdlovsk Region Government

Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Eduard Rossel took a pre-election leave until November 30, 2007. The decision had to be taken due to the Governor’s taking part in the State Duma elections. Head of Sverdlovsk Region Government Viktor Koksharov is going to be acting Governor for the time being.

Head of Sverdlovsk Region Government Viktor Koksharov is reported to be going on vacation; according to the spokesperson for the Governor, Mr. Koksharov is expected to be back by August 6, 2007.

Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Eduard Rossel started his two-week vacation on August 18, 2008. While the Governor is on vacation, things are to be run by Head of Sverdlovsk Region Government Viktor Koksharov. The spokesperson for the Governor reports Eduard Rossel is not going to leave Sverdlovsk Region while on vacation. In fact, the Governor has already taken a two-week leave in July 2008.

Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Eduard Rossel signed a decree on his own vacation that is expected to last from August 20, 2007 to September 7, 2007. Head of Sverdlovsk Region Government Viktor Koksharov is going to be acting Governor while Mr. Rossel is away.

Head of Sverdlovsk Region Government Viktor Koksharov reports that the agricultural production output only grew by 1.5% in the first half of 2007, which couldn’t be seen as really great. According to Mr. Koksharov, offering loans to farmers could also be faster as well as be done on a larger scale. He also suggested that Sverdlovsk Region Ministry of Agriculture and Food should reconsider its managerial practices. These issues were discussed in the course of a meeting devoted to assessment of the implementation of top priority national projects and demographic policies.
