ATMs of Severnaya Kazna no longer accept UnionCard or STB-Card

Severnaya Kazna stopped accepting UnionCard and STB-Card plastic cards on September 20, 2007 when ATM and point-of-sale terminal transactions became no longer available for this group of cardholders. The reason for this is that Bank VTB 24, who used to be UnionCard’s calculating agent, stopped cooperating with the business.

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 4, 2016. Starting from April 1, 2016, the Ural Bank for Reconstruction & Development (UBRD) and UnionCard will no longer be partners, the bank’s press service reports. ‘This means all the UnionCards the bank has issued so far will be deactivated,’ the press service says. The bank’s customers are thus advised to get their UnionCards exchanged for their Unembossed Visa counterparts. The exchange can be performed at any of the bank’s branches any day as long as you have your passport and your UnionCard with you.

Bank Severnaya Kazna’s equipment is to undergo some technical upgrades from 6.30 AM to 8 AM on April 2, 2009 (local time). This means that the bank’s cards will not get serviced at the bank’s ATMs or cash desks as well as at the other banks’ ATMs and cash desks as well as POS terminals during that period of time. The cards won’t be handled by the Internet Bank system for the time being either. Besides, no other banks’ cards will be accepted at Bank Severnaya Kazna’s ATMs and terminals for these several hours.

Severnaya Kazna’s e-bank users might have some trouble making their payments as CyberPlat reports it might take longer to transfer the customers’ money into their mobile phone accounts in case they use Beeline, MTS, Utel, or TELE2. This is why all those making mobile phone payments through Severnaya Kazna’s ATMs, e-portals, or text messages might have to wait a bit before the money is actually transferred to their accounts. The bank has already experienced a number of problems with its Internet-Bank and Client-Bank systems before; for instance, the services were not available from 9 AM to 4

Due to some technical maintenance operations in Bank Severnaya Kazna processing center, the bank will have to stop handling or accepting VISA/Master card from 4 AM to 6 AM on December 17, 2007. This means the bank’s ATMs and POS terminals are not going to be operating properly for the time being.
