Chelyabinsk Coal Company JSC reduces coal shipments to consumers by 13.1%

Within 9 months of the year, Chelyabinsk Coal Company JSC reduced coal shipments to consumers by 13.1% against the same figures for the previous year.

Throughout January to September, the company shipped 677,200 tons of coal to Chelyabinsk Generating Company JSC (221.1% of the previous year figures), 1,297,300 tons to Yuzhnouralsk State District Power Plant JSC (68.2% of the previous year figures), and 5,200 tons to ChelyabObTopProm JSC (4% of the previous year figures). 62,400 tons of coal (263.3% of the previous year figures) were shipped to other consumers. This was reported to UrBC representative by the spokesperson for Chelyabinsk Coal Company JSC.

Coal output of Chelyabinsk Coal Company within July 2006 amounts to 48.4% of the figures for July 2005

Within July 2006, Chelyabinsk Coal Company JSC produced 238,600 tons of saleable coal that amounts to 48.4% of the company’s coal output in July 2005. The daylighting volume at Korkinsky open-pit mine came to 579,000 cubic meters (101.4% of the same figures for the previous year). The total drifting at the company’s mines amounted to 461 meters. Within the last month, the company shipped to consumers 252,900 tons of solid fuel (100.8% of the same figures for the previous year), including 181,200 tons shipped to Yuzhnouralsk State District Power Plant JSC. Chelyabinsk Coal Company reduces coal shipments by 13.1% in nine months of 2006 compared to one year earlier

Chelyabinsk Coal Company reduced its coal shipments by 13.1% in nine months of 2006 compared to one year earlier. It shipped 677,200 tons of coal to Chelyabinsk Generating Company in January-September 2006 (this is 121.1% more than in 2005), 1,297,300 tons to South Ural power station (this in only 68.2% of the figures for 2005), 5,200 tons to ChelyabOblTopProm (96% less than in 2005); the other consumers received 62,400 tons (163.3% more than a year earlier), the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative.

Chelyabinsk Coal Company assesses results of its activity in September 2006

The company produced 225,800 tons of coal in September 2006, which only falls short of the figures for September 2005 by .6%. This includes 65,600 tons of coal extracted at Kapitalnaya mine and 25,300 tons coming from Komsomolskaya mine. The daylighting operations resulted in 422,000 cubic meters of coal (which amounts to 73.9% of the figures for September 2005). The company’s miners developed 380 meters (78.8% of the figures for the year earlier). The company shipped 20.8% less coal to consumers – the figure only came to 247,500 tons, the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative.

Chelyabinsk Coal Company produces 83.5% of last year’s output in nine moths of 2006

The company produced 2,116,500 tons of coal in January-September 2006, which falls short of the figures for January-September 2005 by 16.5%. This includes 686,100 tons of coal extracted at Kapitalnaya mine and 151,500 tons coming from Komsomolskaya mine. The daylighting operations resulted in 3,787,000 cubic meters of coal (which amounts to 64.1% of the figures for January-September 2005). The company’s miners developed 5,584 meters (70.5% of the figures for the year earlier), the company’s spokesperson said to UrBC representative.
