Magnesite Industrial Complex raises refractory goods output by 8% in June 2006

Magnesite Industrial Complex (part of Magnesite Group) produced 31,200 tons of refractory goods (an increase of 4.3% compared to a year earlier), 59,700 tons of commercial powders (an increase of 8% compared to February 2005) in February 2006. The sales record for refractory goods comprised 291,600,000 RUR (7.5% growth), the same indicator for powders made up 139,900,000 RUR (11.7% more than 12 months before). The Complex shipped .6% more (24,300 tons) of refractory goods and 24.9% more of powders (45,400 tons) in February 2006, the spokesperson for Magnesite Group said to UrBC representative.

Magnesite Industrial Complex (part of Magnesite Group) has raised its refractory goods and commercial powders output by 6.2% (up to 254,900 tons) and by 13.7% (up to 526,900 tons), respectively, throughout January to August 2006 compared to the corresponding months of 2005. In the eight months of this year, the company has shipped 8.9% more powders (up to 526,900 tons) and 2.2% more refractory goods (over 243,800 tons), reported the company’s Production Management Director B. Ponomarev.

Magnesite Industrial Complex (part of Magnesite Group Holding) raised its refractory goods and commercial powders production by 6.5% (up to 320,200 tons) and by 12.9% (up to 661,800 tons), respectively, in January-October 2006 (compared to the corresponding months of 2005). The company managed to increase its shipments of commercial powders by 9.1% (up to 661,800 tons) in ten months of 2006 (compared to January-October 2005) and shipped 3.9% more refractory goods (over 307,000 tons) over the same period. This August, Magnesite Industrial Complex (part of Magnesite Group) has produced 31,200 tons of refractory goods, which exceeds the figures for last August by 6.7%. The commercial powders output also went up by 9.6% and came to 67,900 tons. ‘We had somewhat unusual orders last month, for example, a large number of orders for cement goods supplies. All of the company’s shops kept performing well and achieved the target figures,’ said Production Management Director B. Ponomarev.

In May 2006, Magnesite Industrial Complex (part of Magnesite Group) produced 32,800 tons of refractory goods, which exceeds the figures for May 2005 by 7.2%; the output of commercial powders reached the point of 67,500 tons (an increase of 13%). According to Production Management Director B. Ponomarev, the increase in the outputs was caused by more orders being received and assisted by the gradual implementation of the company’s investments program targeted at equipment renovation and introduction of the newest technologies and machines.
