‘All of Baranov’s activity centers around blast furnace process improvements and working condition improvements. He contributed to the launch of pulverized coal fuel technology at Blast Furnace 5 and 6. In 2019, Evgeny Baranov headed the initiative group to retool the blast furnace department’s casting-machine facility.
