SKB-Bank Reopens Branch in Perm

SKB-Bank is about to introduce its Elite-Banks (that is, VIP customer service offices) in Chelyabinsk and Perm. The Chelyabinsk one will be housed in Chelyabinsk branch’s Perviy office at 30 Lenin St, while the one in Perm is to be located in Perm branch’s Sadoviy office at 9 Uinskaya St. SKB-Bank’s first Elite-Bank office was set up in the company’s headquarters in Yekaterinburg and welcomed its first customers on April 9, 2007. Ural Treasures Bank keeps expanding its ATM network in different parts of Russia, the bank’s press officer reports. A new ATM appeared at 60 Vetluzhskaya St., Perm, Perm Territory. The ATM is situated inside a supermarket, so it’s available from 8 AM to midnight. At the same time, the bank had to remove its ATM located at 41/1 Mira St., Perm, Perm Territory.

The Federal Antimonopoly Service’s Perm Territory division imposed a million-ruble fine on Sberbank of Russia’s West-Ural branch for abusing the bank’s monopoly on the local market. The Service stated earlier that Sberbank of Russia’s West-Ural branch had violated Article 10 (part 1, paragraph 7) of the Federal Competition Protection Act. The offense consisted in the bank abusing its dominant market position through introducing unreasonably high fees for the opening of and administration of an account (with no e-banking services provided) for legal entities. Raiffeisenbank Supervisory Board’s recent meeting resulted in the decision to close down a number of the bank’s regional subsidiaries. For one, the bank’s Kamskiy branch in Perm and Chelyabinskiy branch in Chelyabinsk will be closed in November and December 2009, while Nizhegorodskiy branch in Nizhniy Novgorod and Yeniseyskiy branch in Krasnoyarsk will stop working for the months of December and January.

SKB-Bank introduced two new offices in Volgograd and Perm. These offices, known as Kachinskiy and Balatovskiy, can now be found at 169 G.K. Zhukov St. in Volgograd and at 30 Sovetskoy Armii St. in Perm, respectively. Both offices welcome individual customers from 9 AM to 7 PM on weekdays and from 9 AM to 4 PM on weekends. Legal entities are invited to come from 9 AM to 4 PM on weekdays, the bank’s press officer reports. Kachinskiy is SKB-Bank’s sixth office in Volgograd Region, so the locals can still use Volzhskiy, Promyshlenniy, Volgogradskiy, Krasnoarmeyskiy, and Krasnooktyabrskiy outlets.
