Russia: 46,000 People Housing Construction Fraud Victims

UrBC, Moscow, August 7, 2017. The number of housing construction fraud victims rose to 46,000 people, RIA Novosti refers to Russia’s Construction & Public Utilities Minister Mikhail Men as stating.
According to Men, all these people are now on the special federal and regional help lists. Sixty-nine Russian federal constituencies have been affected, even though most of the fraud victims are based in only ten of them.
A special information system will be launched in Russia early next year to provide data on all the housing construction projects not yet commissioned. The system will be created and administered by the Construction & Public Utilities Ministry.
