Russian Government Ups World Cup Expenses 19bn RUR

UrBC, Moscow, February 7, 2017. The Russian Government adopted some changes to the World Football Championship 2018 preparation program, raising the overall expense amount by 19bn RUR, Interfax reports.

The Cabinet’s recent decree carried by the official web portal for legal information on Monday states that the entire spending budget went from 619.6bn RUR up to 638.8bn RUR.

The funds will be allocated from the federal budget resources, with this budget expenses increasing from 331.3bn RUR to 350.4bn RUR. 92.2bn RUR will be obtained from the involved federal constituencies’ budget funds, and 196.2bn RUR will be supplied by private investors.

Sverdlovsk Region to Get 556.7m RUR in Subsidies

Sverdlovsk Region to Get RUR 260m to Build World Cup Facilities

UrBC, Moscow, April 3, 2018. The Russian Government decided on how to distribute the RUR 2.563bn allocated for the construction, assembly, and dismantling of temporary World Football Championship facilities across ten federal constituencies; the information to this extent is available on the Cabinet’s website. ‘A special decree distributes the inter budgetary transfers (RUR 2.563bn altogether) across ten federal constituencies,’ an additional statement on the decree explains. Yekaterinburg to get federal budget funding for airport and road construction to prepare for World Cup 2018

December 12, 2013. Russia’s Transport Ministry drew up some amendments to the Federal Special Purpose Program (FTsP) called ‘Russia’s Transportation System Development in 2010-2020’; under these amendments, an additional 51m RUR will be allocated from the federal budget to help Yekaterinburg prepare for the FIFA World Football Championship of 2018, Izvestiya reports. The ministry also explains that the amendments to the program are based on the Budget Plan 2014 that was adopted in December, and on the plans for 2014-2016 as well as on the Government’s decree on preparation for the World Cup.

Titanium Valley to get 4.8bn RUR from federal budget in 2015-2017

December 19, 2013. The special economic zone Titanium Valley, located in Sverdlovsk Region, will be allocated 4.8bn RUR from the federal budget in 2015-2017. The zone will also be given at least 4.7bn RUR from Sverdlovsk Region’s budget and non-budget sources, the Titanium Valley’s press release says.
