Sverdlovsk Region: power outage for over 8,000 people

The Ministry of Emergencies’ Sverdlovsk Region division reports the accident was caused by a ground wire that fell onto the mains. ‘According to the locals, the ground wire was torn apart by a passing helicopter. As a result, seven towns faced power outages: Sysert, Verkhnyaya Sysert, Tokarevo, Kadnikovo, Cherdantsevo, Pervomaisky, and Oktyabrsky.
