Bank Trust to pay over 50,000 RUR back to customer in Yekaterinburg

June 21, 2013. Consumer rights protection experts from Central Yekaterinburg Branch of Sverdlovsk Region Hygiene & Epidemiology Center helped a customer of Trust National Bank to get back over 50,000 RUR that he had overpaid in terms of fees and commissions.

The branch informed UrBC that the man took out a 170,000-ruble loan at the bank and paid back the total of 340,000 RUR by the end of the loan period.

After this, he consulted the Center experts to arrange a court claim against the bank. After the claim had been considered, it was ruled that the bank’s actions did not comply with the Russian legislation.

Court Declares Rusfinance Bank’s Loan Agreement Invalid

A Yekaterinburg dweller appealed to Sverdlovsk Region Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, asking for legal advice on a clash she had with Rusfinance Bank, Sverdlovsk Region division of Rospotrebnadzor reports. Her loan agreement provided for a monthly fee for the servicing of the loan account (1.7% of the total sum, or 15,000 RUR, or 2,550 RUR a month). Given that the loan period came to 36 months, the fees would total to 91,800 RUR altogether. TRUST National Bank pays over 200,000 RUR for imposing services upon customer

October 26, 2013. TRUST National Bank paid a fine of more than 200,000 RUR for imposing the terms of a contract upon a Yekaterinburg resident. According to the press officer of Rospotrebnadzor, the lending institution included some clauses on extra payments into the three loan agreements that were signed with the customer. For one, the borrowing party had to pay a commission for the transfer of loaned money onto her account, and the monthly fee for the settlement services. Justice court makes Alfa-Travel compensate customer

The Central Yekaterinburg subsidiary of Sverdlovsk Region Hygiene & Epidemiology Center prevented over 22,000 RUR worth of damage that could have been done by OOO Alfa-Travel to a customer, the center’s press department reports. In April 2010, a Yekaterinburg dweller asked the Central Yekaterinburg subsidiary of Sverdlovsk Region Hygiene & Epidemiology Center subsidiary’s experts for legal advice and help in filing a claim against OOO Alfa-Travel. Sverdlovsk Customers complain about Home Credit & Finance, Renaissance Capital, Rusfinance Bank

Analysts from Sverdlovsk Region Hygiene & Epidemiology Center’s Consumer Rights Protection Department looked into the customer complaints they had been getting throughout the third quarter of 2010. The experts came to the conclusion that local organizations repeatedly violated consumer rights over this time period, the center’s press officer reports. As far as the banking market is concerned, most customer complaints have to do with OOO Home Credit & Finance Bank, OOO KB Renaissance Capital, and OOO Rusfinance Bank.
