In 2011, United Company RUSAL’s Polevskoy Cryolite Plant incurred 406.76m RUR worth of net losses, which was 2.4 times less than in 2010, Interfac Ural refers to the company’s report as stating.

The enterprise’s revenues rose by 1.75 times in 2011 compared with 2010 and came to 1.55m RUR.

The net loss of UC RUSAL's Polevskoy cryolite plant (calculated in accordance with the Russian Accounting Standards) rose by 2.2 times over January to September 2010 compared with January-September 2009, that is, up to 192.645 million RUR, the company's report states. The plant's revenues increased by 10% and reached 613.842 million RUR. According to the report, the increased losses were brought about by the dropping demand for the plant's produce.

Uralkhimmash’s net loss goes up 4 times in 2011

In 2011, Uralkhimmash incurred 129.11m RUR worth of net losses (calculated in accordance with the Russian Accounting Standards), which was 3.9 times more than in 2010, the enterprise’s report states. The company’s revenues for 2011 increased by 36% and came to 4.37bn RUR. The company’s BOD set the date for the annual general meeting on May 31, 2012.
