Rusline Aviation Company Tops Russia’s Unpunctual Carriers List

RusLine Airlines has delayed 12.4% of its flights since the beginning of the year. This is the highest figure among all the Russian air carriers, the Association of Russian Tour Operators’ press service refers to Rosaviation as saying. The company is followed by Bashkortostan, which delayed 10.7% of its flights, and NordWind (8.7%), the third most ‘impolite’ airline. Experts from the Economic Analysis Center RIA-Analitika’s (a division of RIA Novosti) used Rosaviation’s data to compile a rating of Russian airlines based on the share of delayed flights in the total flight turnover in January-May 2011. The rating comprised all the companies whose data for Janaury-May 2011 were available to the experts. The flights were classed as delayed if they took off more than two hours behind the timetable.
