Suprun might leave Sverdlovsk Region Railways

Kommersant reports head of Sverdlovsk Region Railways Vladimir Suprun is about to resign. According to the newspaper’s source, the executive has been promoted to a new position in Moscow: he is to get a top post either in the Russian Transport Ministry or in the Russian Railways Public Company.
Sverdlovsk Region Railways has not provided any comments so far. Kommersant believes Suprun is most likely to be succeeded by his first deputy Valery Fomin or the company’s chief engineer Igor Naboichenko.
Vladimir Suprun has been running the line since 2007.
