27 August 2010 (11:46)
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 26, 2010. Sverdlovsk Region Ministry for Economics is currently working on a set of documents necessary to place an application regarding the creation of Titanium Valley (a special economic zone for industrial purposes) with Russia’s Ministry for Economic Development. The application is supposed to be submitted in December 2010, upon which it is to be considered by an ad hoc governmental committee which is to decide whether the project looks expedient or not.
‘The federal authorities are generally positive about the project. This is now the matter of how fast and professional we prove in submitting the application; to go through with the application process, we need to work effectively for two to three months,’ says Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Alexander Misharin.
