VIZ-Stal says demand for grain-oriented steel still low
2 August 2010 (08:58)
OOO VIZ-Stal came up with a performance report for the first half of 2010. The company produced 69,300 tons of steel in January-June 2010, which was two times more than the amount manufactured in the first half of 2009. The figure comprises 68,800 tons of grain-oriented steel and 500 tons of dynamo steel.
The enterprise reports their grain-oriented steel production output increased against the first half of 2009 due to the gradually recovering global demand for this kind of steel; this demand, however, is still lower than that before the start of the recession.
