Baldinini’s customers spend wiser

‘Baldinini footwear belongs to the premium class and luxury market segments. Our customers are normally twenty-somethings, the so-called gilded youth, and people aged thirty to thirty five who run their own business. On average, a pair of shoes costs 11,000 to 15,000 RUR. Last year we noticed that our customers grew more thoughtful and careful in their shopping behavior. A lot of people, including our visitors, felt extremely unstable last year, but now everybody appears to be more relaxed,’ the manager of Baldinini shops in Yekaterinburg Nadezhda Luzyanina informed UrBC.
‘Our sales did go down in 2009, but only a little. Now things are getting back on track. We usually have sales two times a year and prepare special offers for our regular customers. During last year’s recession, the number of sales periods remained the same. Baldinini is a European brand, so if no sales promotion events are launched in Europe, nothing happens in the brand’s Yekaterinburg representation,’ she explained.
‘We are not going to make any forecasts just now. Only time will tell how things will be going. Nevertheless, we do hope Baldinini has a bright, successful future,’ Ms Luzyanina said.
